Sketchbook Cover 2025

For the 2025-26 school year, I chose to focus my sketchbook covers on the temporary nature of memories. The front cover emulates the fresh memories of childhood and excitement (with the word "memories...." repeating), and the back demonstrates the progressively fading memories, with bits of images omitted due to gaps in remembrance (with the continuation of the thought from the front with the word "fading...." blurred and shaky). Made from collaging made cyanotypes, found magazines and mail adverts, I additionally used hole punchers and my own linocut font (Fosforo) to stamp the wording in.
